Hartshorne cricket club is a village club with the primary objective of all those involved, to enjoy their cricket.
We are currently working towards some very important goals and objectives in 2007, its very important we build on the good platform already in place.
Cricket in the area has changed over the last few years with some clubs opting to join the Derbyshire league and, due to player shortage, the loss of both local rivals Woodville and Swadlincote, this now leaves Hartshorne Cricket Club as the only surviving South Derbyshire team in the Burton and District Cricket League.

Last year's Cockspur Cup Finalists moved a step closer to Lord's after they both won their Second Round ties on Sunday. Holders Bromley took a trip over the Dartford Crossing to take on Brentwood with
